Your First Visit to Our WashingtonTownship Practice

Examination Room

On your first visit, you can expect to begin by reporting information pertaining to your past health history and present complaint.  Next, the doctor will perform a thorough musculoskeletal and nervous system examination.  The chiropractic examination is then performed to evaluate your vertebral column and to correlate it's findings with the other exams and the your chief complaint.

Following the exams, X-rays of the spine will be taken to allow the doctor to fully evaluate your health status.  After all examinations and X-rays are completed, you are released with educational materials and are scheduled to return the next day for treatment.  The doctor then uses all of the information gathered from his examinations to develop the proper management plan for you

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.

Apparently, WashingtonTownship area chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Marsteller Asks some important questions of interest to WashingtonTownship residents - Chiropractor WashingtonTownship Dr. Marsteller Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Can chiropractic relieve PMS?
If you have subluxations, especially in the lower spine that impair nerves that direct and monitor the reproductive and hormonal systems, chiropractic could be helpful. Undetected subluxations may also be responsible for pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and even infertility. Maybe chiropractic can help. Find out!
